Food Service WorkerThe Long Prairie-Grey Eagle is looking for an energetic and hardworking individual to join our food service team. If you enjoy working around children and have a passion for food service, this may be a job for you. Good team members make for a good school.BASIC FUNCTION: Prepare and serve food for the school lunch program and perform cleaning tasks necessary to maintain standards and a smooth operation. Position would be approximately 10:30am-2:00pm Monday-FridayDuties: Some cooking, lifting, cleaning, dishes, servingQualifications: Experience preferred but will train Valid Driver License Knowledge of materials and methods used in preparing food and the care and use of cooking utensils and equipment. Knowledge of food values and nutrition. Ability to do simple cooking on a large scale, simple cleaning and food service tasks and follow oral and written instructions.Contacts: Face to face contact with co-workers and school staff.
