We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support data-driven decision-making through insightful reporting, modeling, and performance analysis for an entertainment company. This is a fully remote This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who can interpret financial results, uncover trends in complex data, and translate findings into clear business recommendations. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to planning activities, evaluate financial performance, and deliver timely analysis that supports operational and strategic goals. Candidate must have experience with royalties. Responsibilities:• Build and maintain financial models that support forecasting, budgeting, and business planning initiatives.• Examine financial results and identify key drivers behind monthly, quarterly, and annual performance changes.• Prepare ad hoc analyses to answer business questions, assess financial impact, and support leadership decisions.• Review actuals against forecasts and budgets, highlighting variances and explaining underlying causes.• Gather, organize, and interpret large data sets using data mining techniques to uncover meaningful trends and risks.• Create reports and presentations that communicate financial insights clearly to stakeholders and business partners.• Partner with cross-functional teams to collect inputs, validate assumptions, and improve the quality of financial analysis.• Monitor financial metrics and recommend actions that enhance performance, efficiency, and cost visibility.
