Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Consultant to support the growth and day-to-day execution of the Securities-Based Lending (SBL) program. This individual will work closely with advisors, lending partners, and internal stakeholders to support new lending opportunities, move business through the pipeline, and help drive greater awareness and adoption of lending solutions.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of financial services experience, strong business acumen, operational execution, and relationship-building skills. This person should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and quickly learning new lending products, tools, and processes.

• Support the day-to-day execution and growth of the Securities-Based Lending program , including tracking pipeline activity, documentation, outstanding items, and follow-ups.
• Partner with advisors and internal stakeholders to identify, develop, and advance new lending opportunities.
• Enter loan estimates and support the operational review of newly submitted business.
• Serve as a resource to advisors by responding to product and process questions and helping them navigate lending workflows.
• Independently manage assigned opportunities and partner across the lending team to resolve open issues and move high-priority business forward.
• Support business development initiatives designed to increase advisor awareness, engagement, and utilization of lending solutions.
• Maintain accurate pipeline records, project tracking, KPIs, and reporting to provide visibility into program activity and ensure business continuity.
• Monitor program utilization and performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Gather feedback from advisors and field partners and summarize key findings to help inform product, process, and experience enhancements.
• Develop clear and actionable advisor-facing materials, including process guides, FAQs, toolkits, and other resources , to build confidence and understanding of lending programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve processes and enhance the advisor and client experience.

• Previous experience within financial services, ideally within lending, wealth management, banking, advisor support, or a related environment.
• Experience with securities-based lending, margin lending, credit products, or other lending solutions is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new financial products, lending tools, systems, and processes.
• Strong business development and relationship management skills, with the ability to effectively support and engage advisors and internal business partners.
• Ability to understand a product's full lifecycle, from identifying an opportunity through processing and ongoing support.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities with tight turnaround times.
• Comfortable working independently with limited supervision while collaborating effectively across teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex processes for different audiences.
• Experience developing process documentation, FAQs, training materials, or advisor-facing resources is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
• Ability to successfully complete a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA requirements.
